CityCentre Casino – Las Vegas

This casino was opened in 2009. It’s a property that is 150,000 square feet of casino floor, not including the 5,900 hotel rooms and suites, plus an additional 2,400 residences. Spread out over three separate buildings, the complex includes a large retail and entertainment precinct that covers 500,000 square feet. The project cost $8.5 billion in construction cost and now employs around 12,000 permanent employees.

Marina Bay Sands – Singapore

Now an iconic part of the Singapore skyline, this casino complex opened in 2010. The casino floor is large – covering over 160,000 square feet; plus there are over 2,500 hotel rooms and suites. The highlight of this property is the SkyPark that can be found on the top floor (which is the 57th) – stretching across and connecting the three towers, this is a large terrace that includes an infinity pool that enables you to effectively swim through the sky. The project cost $5.7 billion.

Resorts World Sentosa – Singapore

This casino property opened in 2010 with a casino floor of over 160,000 square feet plus over 1,500 hotel rooms and suites. This is a resort in every sense of the word, with 121 acres of grounds that includes a theme park and a marine park. It cost around $5.7 billion to build.

Wynn – Las Vegas

The Wynn in Las Vegas opened in 2005 and delivers a casino floor of 110,000 square feet plus over 2,700 hotel rooms and suits. Everything about the Wynn is completely over-the-top. Golf is one of its main features – it’s the only resort on the Las Vegas strip to include an 18-hole golf course. The entire project cost $2.7 billion to build.

The Venetian – Macao

Opening in 2007, this has quickly become one of the most iconic casinos in the world. The casino boasts an enormous floor space of over 540,000 square feet plus 3,000 hotel rooms and suites. That makes it the biggest casino in the world and one of the biggest buildings in the world (when you look at total floor space). The Renaissance-style decor is jaw-dropping. It may not be particularly tasteful, or at least not to everyone’s taste, but it is undeniably impressive. It cost $2.4 billion to build.
